The Position

Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability #IP2TIS offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world. As a sustainability and innovation intern, you will work on cutting-edge projects that align with our commitment to environmental responsibility, social impact, and forward-thinking solutions.

This internship position is located in Penzberg, Bavaria, on site with an option for hybrid sessions.  

Key Responsibilities

• Within the Site Management Organization your goal is to develop a smart concept and solution around sustainable management and handling of equipment and material, especially in developing a solution and platform for optimal reuse/repair of material and equipment

• Youll bring together the right people from different organizations and get them excited about your project and the concept

• The use of digital technologies, KI-solutions as well as good craftsmanship and common sense is key to the success of your project

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of industrial engineering, informatics, environment engineering or industrial management within the last 12 months. You are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry and the related support functions.

• …curious about how things have developed over decades and how change management works

• …willing to contribute to a more environmentally friendly world

• …keen on learning and using LEAN methods and pragmatic solutions

• …an advocate of sustainability and the respective mindset and behavior

• …demonstrate a strong aptitude for structured problem solving, both individually and in a team

• …enthusiastic in inspiring others about your concept and your project

• … experienced in the area of Knowledge Management or getting to learn about the area 

• …good in presenting and promoting concepts and solutions

• …an effective and self-assured communicator (written and verbal in English and German)

Technical details:

The start date for the internship is 1. July 2024.
